The Tustin Area Historical Society proudly presents World War II and How Tustin’s Blimp Hangars Helped Counter the Threat on Friday, August 12th from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Tustin Area Museum.
Staff Sergeant Cisco Lacy will be talking about what he knows about the World War II Axis threat to the homeland and how the Light-than-Air (LTA) program helped counter that threat.
Lacy is a Staff Sergeant in the Air National Guard. He also spent 8 years in the Army National Guard, including a year-long deployment to Iraq in 2005. He studies military history as a job and as a hobby and is fascinated with the Tustin Hangars
August’s Night at the Museum starts at 7 pm at the Museum, 395 El Camino Real. Tickets for the event are $20 each and must be purchased in advance. Our Night’s usually sell out, so early purchase is recommended. No tickets will be sold at the door.
