The Tustin Area Historical Society proudly presents Restoration Expert Randy Ema on Friday night, June 9th from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Tustin Area Museum.
Longtime North Tustin resident, Randy Ema, a noted Duesenberg historian, expert, and restorer, owns the Duesenberg factory and family records. He has numerous publications and awards to his credit, including multiple First in Class wins at Pebble Beach
Duesenberg Automobile and Motors Company, Inc. was an American racing and luxury automobile manufacturer founded in Indianapolis, Indiana, by brothers Fred and August Duesenberg in 1920. The company is known for popularizing the straight-eight engine and four-wheel hydraulic brakes. A Duesenberg car was the first American car to win a Grand Prix race, winning the 1921 French Grand Prix. Duesenbergs won the Indianapolis 500 in 1924, 1925, and 1927. The company was sold and dissolved in 1937.
June’s Night at the Museum starts at 7:00 pm at the Museum, 395 El Camino Real. Tickets for the event are $20 each and must be purchased in advance. Our Night’s usually sell out, so early purchase is recommended. No tickets will be sold at the door.
