The Tustin Area Historical Society proudly features an entertaining evening with Orange County historian Chris Epting on Friday, July 26th from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Tustin Area Museum.

Chris is a prolific author and also cohost of the new PBS television series “OC History Hunters.” Chris Epting, will share his new book, “Lost Landmarks of Orange County.”

Delve into the fascinating stories and photos of iconic places that have shaped the history of Orange County, from theme parks to music venues, restaurants, theaters, and more. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn about the forgotten gems of the past.

(Do you remember long-gone attractions like the Japanese Deer Garden, Movieland Wax Museum, Buffalo Ranch, the Orange Count Raceway, and Lion County Safari?)

Chris is the author of over 40 travel/history books including James Dean Died Here, Roadside Baseball, and a number of local history books about Southern California topics.

Books will be available for sale and signing that night.

July’s Night at the Museum starts at 7:00 pm at the Museum, 395 El Camino Real. Tickets for the event are $20 each ($15 for current members) and must be purchased in advance.
