Love of the Land by Ed & Libby
Pankey.
This book ,and the remarkable
stories it tells, allow us to see
inside the window of the Pankey
house -- to see a family's success
and failures, its triumphs and
tragedies, and its trials and
travails. It is a moving story of
two people who came together, not
only to raise a family, but also to
experience life and all it has about
love of the family, love of country,
and love of life. It is the roots of
a remarkable couple and family. -
from the Introduction by Jim Doti,
President of Chapman University. $20 |

The Landmark Trees of Tustin by
Carol Jordan. Tustin has become
known as a City of Trees. Columbus
Tustin planted many trees as he laid
out the streets of his "Tustin City"
in the early 1870s. As the trees
matured, they gave the city a
distinction few others in the county
achieved. The trees are listed
alphabetically by common name.
Information on each includes
botanical name, location, history,
diameter breast height,
characteristics of the variety and
its origin. $5 |
